Bedbugs

The Return of the Bedbug

Once thought to be nearly eradicated in industrial nations, bedbugs are making a comeback. Bedbugs are small, oval, reddish-brown insects that are about ¼-inch long when fully developed. They live in cracks in furniture and walls, usually near beds. At night they will crawl into the bed and bite the occupants. This bite is relatively painless, and bedbugs are not known to transmit disease, but they can be very annoying and abhorrent to most people.
